Heat Pump Special

Make no mistake, if you're using electric storage as your hot water source, it’s the single largest contributor of household electricity costs.

Most hot water systems installed in Australian households just like yours use electricity to run.

Electric hot water systems can be relatively in-expensive to install, hence their popularity when Aussie’s are looking to buy a hot water system. They might have an inexpensive installation …. But they are most certainly not the cheapest hot water system to run. The real cost comes from the electricity bill arriving in your letterbox every 60 days.

A long story short, if you continue to use a standard electric hot water system, you are increasing your heating costs by up to 70% in comparison to using other types of water heating systems. That’s right, your electricity bill could be MUCH lower, just by upgrading to one of the cheapest hot water systems to run.

But where do you start? If you are looking to buy a hot water system, understanding the real benefits of the different types of systems can be difficult due to long, complex product brochures having you wondering what on earth is going on or if you are being sucked into an expensive gimmick.

At 5 Star Plumbing and Gas we are Perth locals just like you. Our main goal is to do the research for you, filter the gimmicks and present you with clear options on the cheapest hot water systems to run. That means that when you are looking to buy a hot water system or replace your current hot water system, we’re helping you save money every month, not just today.

If you’re looking to reduce your electricity bill by up to 70% by installing one of the cheapest hot water systems to run, read on to learn about how installing the latest iStore Hot Water Unit will help you do just that.

Our biggest tip for 2018 is to walk outside, look at your hot water system and ask yourself – how much is this costing me to run every month and can I do better?

What exactly is an iStore Hot Water System?

If you’re using an electric hot water unit, that unit uses electricity to create heat. It uses electricity constantly, which of course increases your electricity usage and inflates your electricity bill.

An iStore Hot Water System sits in the same spot and completes the same function of creating heat, it just uses a heat pump that stores energy for later use rather than use electricity constantly. This of course, reduces your electricity usage and lowers your electricity bill.

Put simply, iStore technology will clobber your electricity costs effectively using renewable energy.
